The Pioneers statue celebrates the canal builders who founded Ellesmere Port and was cast in bronze by Liverpool artist Stephen Broadbent.
TREE PRESERVATION ORDERS
Around 200 trees in Ellesmere Port and Neston are protected by Tree Preservation Orders (TPOs).
This means that permission is needed from the council before a protected tree can be pruned, lopped, topped or felled.
