The Pioneers statue celebrates the canal builders who founded Ellesmere Port and was cast in bronze by Liverpool artist Stephen Broadbent.
Particulates (PM10) are monitored in "real-time" at two locations. The town centre site, which has been in continuous operation since 1996, uses the TEOM monitoring technique . A second TEOM was used at Stanney between 1999 and 2006. This has been replaced by a BAM 1020. Click on the link below for more information on PM10
