An important aspect of the work of the Borough Council's Food Safety Team is the investigation of complaints regarding food and food premises. If you have any concerns regarding food, such as whether it is fit to eat, contains foreign bodies or if you feel that food premises are not operating to satisfactory hygienic standards, then contact the Food Safety Team.
We will thoroughly and promptly investigate every complaint received to try to find out the cause of the problem and to prevent it recurring. We will also tell you what the outcome of your complaint is once we have completed our enquiries.
