Slips Trips and Falls - Two people a year die from falling over at work and we take public safety seriously so from October 2006 the health and safety team will be focusing on preventing slips trips and falls. Survey visits will be carried out on target sectors such as fast food restaurants, supermarkets and shopping centres where slips, trips and falls are most likely to occur. During these surveys we will be looking at the type of flooring in the premises to ensure that they are suitable and adequately maintained and environmental factors that may contribute to accidents.
