How to be a good neighbour

There are a number of simple, common sense ways to reduce the amount of noise you make:-

Turn your stereo down - you'll save your own hearing!
Invite your neighbours to your party - or let them know well in advance. Try to keep the music down and keep the windows and doors closed. If someone complains, be reasonable and turn it down.
If you have a dog, make sure it is happy and quiet, and not left barking all day. Keep your dog indoors if it barks when unattended or disturbed.
Make sure your neighbours know who your house alarm keyholders are and how to contact them.
Do your DIY during the daytime and not at night. Let neighbours know if you intend to do noisy jobs or use power equipment
