Housing - About Housing Services

Housing Services is headed by Robert Selby, Director of Housing and Development Services. Our work is diverse and includes:

Developing a housing strategy for all housing in the borough
Managing the council's own properties which are available to rent
Providing help and advice to people who are homeless or threatened with homelessness
Maintaining a Home Seekers list of people requesting council accommodation
Promoting energy efficiency in the home
Providing financial assistance to maintain your home and Disabled Facilities Grants
Dealing with properties in disrepair
Providing help and advice to private tenants who have suffered harassment or illegal eviction

Performance Indicators
