The Housing Management Unit has started a series of estate inspections or 'walkabouts' and we would like to invite you to take part.
On some occasions your local councillor, the police, and /or representatives from other council services may attend. It will mean that each estate will have two full inspections per year.
The area walkabouts are being arranged by the local Housing Officer and dates, times, and meeting points can be found in the table below together with contact details if you need any further information.
The walkabouts are designed to give you the opportunity to meet your Housing Officer and point out/ discuss any issues you may have about where you live e.g. litter, overgrown trees and bushes, graffiti, disrepair of street lamps, anti-social behaviour/ vandalism, etc.
Your Housing Officer will complete a report on the walkabout and will make a note of any action that needs to be taken. Copies of the completed report will be provided to everyone taking part in the walkabouts.
By carrying out the walkabouts we will be able to build up a picture of any problem areas or 'hot spots' and be in a better position to decide on how best to deal with them.
Further walkabouts are planned for later in the year and details of these will be made available in the near future in our housing receptions at Civic Way, Neston Town Hall, Westminster Neighbourhood Office, and on the council's web site.
We hope that you will come along and join us and we look forward to meeting you.
