Renovation grants are available for properties that are unfit for human habitation, where owners can satisfy a three year ownership and residence qualification.
This requirement is waived in certain circumstances.
Applicants are 'means tested' with reference to their income, savings and circumstances.
Renovation grants are also available to private landlords in certain circumstances.
