Energy Efficiency Grants
Energy Efficiency Grants are available throughout the borough. They are available for cavity wall insulation and loft insulation (up to a minimum of 270mm).
Who Qualifies?
applicants should be aged 65 years or over and;
not eligible for government funded assistance for energy efficiency measures (e.g. Warm Front Grant) and; the property is in council tax band A, B or C and;
the grant applicant is a homeowner.
How much grant is available?
The amount of grant assistance will be determined by an assessment by council officers as to what represents a reasonable cost for the works. In all cases the maximum amount of grant that will be awarded is £500.
