Other help available when looking for work

The Employment and Skills Team has many ways of helping you find work. As well as training, we can give you practical help in getting to an interview, travelling to work - even finding the right clothes.

Some services are only available to people who live in certain areas of the borough.

Career Gear: If you've nothing to wear for your job interview and live in certain areas of Ellesmere Port, then we can help you. We can provide smart clothing for jobseekers who need something suitable to wear for a job interview.
Workwise Wheels: this is a bicycle loan scheme developed to help residents of certain areas of Ellesmere Port to get to work. You will need to have secured employment with a company that is situated in a specific area.
