It is the council's policy to consult immediate neighbours to all planning applications. This is done by means of individual letters, site notices and / or press notices.
In addition, all planning applications are available for viewing online. Planning officers are happy to give advice on the details of planning applications.
You will be given 21 days to respond with your written comments, enabling the planning case officer to consider the points raised. You can e-mail your comment direct to the Planning Office by using planning.admin@epnbc.gov.uk but please ensure your postal address is added to your contact details.
Provided the application has not been decided, you are able to comment via the Planning Services web pages by selecting the appropriate application and then using the comment on this application link. Click below to view planning applications:
The case officer will make a site inspection before a decision is made.
You can contact your local councillor who may be able to represent your views, but you are advised to formally register, with the planning department, any comments you wish to make. Click below to find your councillor and contact details for him/her:
If the application is determined, by the council's Planning Committee, one representative for and one against the application has the right to address the committee.
