Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council has now received a planning application for the major redevelopment of Neston Town Centre.
The application covers plans for a Town Centre development with new supermarket, town square and market, new decked car park. Proposal for 14 new residential units and community facility units are also included. This page will be updated with new information as we receive it.

Consultation Given the importance of this proposal the council has made special arrangements to extend publicity and consultation.

A special meeting of the Borough Council's planning Committee has been arranges to consider the planning application in Neston. The meeting will consider the recent application (P/2008/118) for the major redevelopment of Neston Town Centre. The meeting is also expected to consider the application for the temporary market and proposals for additional parking.
The meeting will be held on Thursday 12 June 2008 at Neston Civic Hall, Hinderton Road, Neston starting at 6.15pm.
Given the important of this application, the council has extended its scheme for public - speaking at meetings. As a rough guide the times allowed will be as follows: -

As the period allocated for public speaking is limited, individual member of the public wishing to speak at the meeting, either for of against the application, are strongly encouraged to appoint a spokesperson to speak on their behalf.
