Vauxhall's factory at Ellesmere Port is to be one of four plants in Europe that will build the new Astra.
Every local planning authority in England is required to prepare an Annual Monitoring Report (AMR).
The third AMR for the Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council Local Development Framework was considered and approved by Planning Committee on Tuesday 11 December 2007. It was subsequently submitted to the Government Office for the North West on Monday 24 December 2007. It covers the period from 1 April 2006 to 31 March 2007 and contains information on the implementation of the LDF, and the effectiveness of policies within the Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Local Plan.
