Ellesmere Port and Neston Borough Council and Chester City Council have worked together to produce Urban Potential Studies for their districts.
The study for Ellesmere Port and Neston has now been completed and can be downloaded below. The study for Chester is still in preparation and is expected to be completed shortly. Both studies have been prepared following the same methodology and have used the same approach to consultation and market testing.
The study was undertaken in line with guidance developed by the North West Regional Assembly in its document Exploring Urban Potential for Housing. Specialists consultants White Young Green and DTZ Pieda undertook the market assessment and consultation on the draft study took place in early 2006.
