A development brief has now been approved for the vacant land at Canal Village, next to the Boat Museum in Ellesmere Port. This sets out the issues and design principles relating to the future development of the site.
The document has been through public consultation and was adopted by the Planning Committee on 9 December 2003. It now forms supplementary planning guidance and will be used to decide future planning applications on the site.
